Clinical Research

Mission: To improve pediatric surgical practice through the application of principles of evidence-based research.

Goals:

  • To conduct multi-center randomized clinical trials.
  • To develop multi-center databases to document clinical practice patterns and patient outcomes.
  • To observe and characterize the pediatric surgery work environment and create solutions for  improvement.
  • To document pediatric surgical outcomes using novel medical informatics tools.
  • To integrate research findings into current clinical practice.
