Clinical Research
Mission: To improve pediatric surgical practice through the application of principles of evidence-based research.
Goals:
- To conduct multi-center randomized clinical trials.
- To develop multi-center databases to document clinical practice patterns and patient outcomes.
- To observe and characterize the pediatric surgery work environment and create solutions for improvement.
- To document pediatric surgical outcomes using novel medical informatics tools.
- To integrate research findings into current clinical practice.
